The Riverfront Trail at The Dalles

The Riverfront Trail at The Dalles winds along the southern bank of the Columbia River. It stretches eight miles between The Discovery Center to the northwest and The Dalles Riverfront Park to the east.

The trail re-establishes the connection between the Community of The Dalles and the Columbia River. The paved trail is 8 to 12 feet wide making it perfect for cycling, jogging, walking the dog, or taking out the stroller. The majority of the Riverfront Trail is ADA accessible.

  • Restrooms (located at Pocket Park and The Dalles Dam Visitor Center)

  • Easy access to downtown The Dalles

  • Numerous benches and view points

  • Bicycle repair stations and
