About the Swim Lesson Program
The District swim lesson program is designed to provide youth in the Columbia River Gorge with the skills and confidence they need to enjoy the water safely. The goal of the program is to have every participant leave each lesson with improved swimming technique, greater swimming endurance, and expanded water safety knowledge.
Each session of swim lessons runs for two weeks. Lessons are 30-minute classes held Monday through Friday. Over the course of each session, students receive five total hours of expert instruction from our swim instructor team.
