Northern Wasco County Aquatic Center

Our Facility

Welcome to the Northern Wasco County Aquatic Center, the heart of safe, fun, and inclusive aquatic recreation in the Mid-Columbia area.

The facility, rebuilt in 2016 thanks to a bond passed by District voters, features a 50-meter pool with depths ranging from 3.5-feet to 12-feet, a 140-foot waterslide, an aqua climbing wall, a free-to-access splash pad, and a diving board.

Staffing & Operations

We operate seasonally, opening Memorial Day weekend and closing Labor Day weekend. During the season, we offer a variety of programs, including lap swim, open swim, and swim lessons. We also partner with The Dalles Swim Team to host practices and competitions.

Our facility is staffed with a team of front desk/concession workers, lifeguards, head lifeguards, and swim instructors who are happy to answer questions and provide support.
