Hand Gun Safety Course: Concealed Carry Permit

Classes are taught by volunteer members of The Dalles Rifle and Pistol Association and are held at Mid Columbia Senior Center. Classes take place generally 4 times a year and are limited to the first 21 participants. Please call NWCPRD at (541)296-9533 to be put on the waiting list. Our waiting list has been extensive due to interest. It is not uncommon to be on the list for a period of at least 3-6months. If you are mailed a registration form and cannot attend that class, it is courteous to call and inform us so we can offer the spot to the next person in line.

Hunter Education

REGISTRATION: Registration is limited to first 20 individuals. 

You must register at NWCPRD by calling (541)296-9533 to guarantee a seat in the class. You will be mailed information on the next available class and must call to confirm the dates and times will work for you. You will then pay your fee on the first day of the course to the Instructor. Classes are held 1-2 times per year in our area. There are also online or home study courses available thru ODFW.
