TEMP-SEASONAL PARK MAINTENANCE POSITION
April-September 2008
FUNCTION: Under direction and supervision, is responsible to perform limited skilled, unskilled or semi-skilled labor in connection with the maintenance of parks. Responsibility may include park security evenings and weekends.
SUPERVISION: Responsible to the group leader or to the foreman or other person in a designated supervisory capacity.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Carries out assigned duties as they relate to the general and specific maintenance and security of areas and facilities as noted above. Performs any and all other duties as may be assigned by Executive Director.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have ability to understand and follow both oral and written directions. Good health, strength and agility, reliability, cooperative, and the ability to work under supervision. Must have a valid Oregon driver’s license. Pre-employment drug test is required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent. May require continued education in specialized fields.
RATE OF PAY: $8.79 to $10.51 per hour, DOE
HOURS PER WEEK: 30 to 40
